27 Second Set One-Hit Wonder Challenge Day 3 - 18 and Life
Moving right along to day three... this time it's the 80s hair metal classic "18 and Life" by Skid Row. Here's the original: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qHWJML0Skg&w=420&h=345]
Pretty awesome, right? Now there may be a few of you out there saying "Skid Row, a one-hit wonder? I don't think so. What of 'Youth Gone Wild'? What of 'I Remember You'?" To such parties, I would suggest they review rule 2 from the first post in the challenge. To sum up, if enough people think a song or a band is a one-hit wonder, then it is, more or less (at least for the purposes of this nine-day journey we're all taking together.) Plus, this song is kind of sweet, and I wanted to see if I could do a version that worked.
Does it? I don't know - but it was fun to put together. Check it out.

And here's the clip (I'm going to start varying up the backgrounds soon, I promise!)

(This tune was suggested by Michael J. Smith, who earned himself a signed copy of 27 Second Set #1 for his trouble. You could be next! Find me on Twitter or Facebook to suggest your own!)
